We have assembled our policy statements and other important information so that you understand how important it is to us that you feel safe using our services
We are committed to ensuring that every woman has the opportunity to achieve her potential. It doesn't matter how old you are; if you face language barriers or if you have additional needs and regardless of your race, sexual orientation, religion or lifestyle
We produce an Annual report every year, which let's our stakeholders know how we are doing financially and how many women we have helped, and how.

We deliver all our services in line with the five core values of a trauma informed approach- SAFETY, TRUSTWORTHINESS, CHOICE, EMPOWERMENT and COLLABORATION
We will hold the minimum personal information necessary to perform its functions. All information is confidential, will be treated with care, and will comply with the law. Women who use our service, staff and volunteers have the right to access their records and can request their data be deleted
Everyone that works for us, and with us, must protect the rights and promote the interests of women who use the service. They must strive to establish and maintain the trust and confidence of women. They'll promote independence and choice for women, respect the rights of women and ensure their behaviour does not harm themselves or other people. They uphold public trust and confidence in SWC services. They'll also be accountable for the quality of their work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving their knowledge and skills.
Every woman and child has the right to be safe from harm and to live free from fear of abuse, neglect and exploitation. Therefore we aim to stop abuse or neglect wherever possible. We will prevent harm and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to vulnerable adults and children. We safeguard women in a way that supports them in making choices and having control about how they want to live. We promote an approach that concentrates on improving life for those concerned. We work alongside other professionals, to play our part in preventing, identifying and responding to abuse and neglect and to help to address what has caused the abuse or neglect.
